and several venues will open mid-week too
Held over two weekends, with some venues also open mid-week too, the Mahurangi Artist Studio Trail brings together artists from many disciplines, schools and techniques. This is your chance to see the working areas of local artists, talk to them about their ideas, watch amazing skills in action, join in with art projects for all ages as you visit the venues and maybe buy some special pieces of art or be inspired to do something for yourself.
There are many artists and craftspeople in the region working with paint, glass, fabrics, photography, wood, jewellery and more. Visiting a studio or workspace gives an insight into the creative process you wouldn’t get at a regular gallery or exhibition. With 20+ venues to visit, we know you will have a great time and we look forward to meeting you.

Free printed TRAIL MAPS have been distributed to loads of local Mahurangi venues,
including libraries, Warkworth Information Centre, cafe's and businesses for you to pick up or
just click on the button below for all your Trail Artist and Venue details.
For artists, it is a unique opportunity to sell your work, connect with the public and showcase what you do in your own environment.
