Artist Bio:
Hillary Austin is an ex pat Ozzie Painter of over 35 years who recently moved to Leigh NZ from the Northern Rivers NSW. Hillary is known predominantly for her gestural landscape painter.
Hillary & her husband Richard Calder opened the Foundation Gallery & Arts Hub doors and started the Barefoot Artists (children from Leigh and Surrounds) who attend the arts education program through the Hub and in holiday arts programs not long after. The Foundation Gallery though privately owned and operated seeks to serve its community of professional and amateur artists and enthusiasts with Community group shows, art classes age range from 5-75, Holiday and specialist workshops, life drawing and community art initiatives.
