Julia has been creative all of her life - spinning, knitting, crochet, woodworking and lead lighting have been some of her interests and in later years she has concentrated on visual arts. She paints mainly in acrylic but also likes to draw in pastels and pencil, enjoying the different textures and effects that can be achieved with these mediums. Animals and flowers are her main focus and experimenting with different styles keep her at her easel.
