Artist Bio:

Talia Russell is a silk screen printer specialising in large scale A1 size prints.
Iconic views seen in a different light is how Talia describe her prints, as she feel’s screen printing is a medium is made for large scale, resulting in a picture window like view in a frame.
Talia’s work is predominately landscapes, that are inspired by travel posters of the 20s & 30s.
Having returned to NZ after 10 years abroad in Europe and a 3 year printing hiatus, Talia has recently set up her NZ studio on Mahurangi West.
Most of Talia’s prints are 12+ colours, and she often print’s the same image in different colour ways. All prints are hand pulled, so there may be minor variations to each print which makes each one unique and original and are all limited editions.
Influenced by her Design background, an interest in pattern and travel, Talia’s print work merges her love of colour, texture, design and pattern into desirable and collectable multicoloured prints.
