Held over two weekends, the Mahurangi Artist’s Studio Trail brings together artists from many disciplines, schools and techniques. This is your chance to see the working areas of local artists, talk to them about their ideas, watch amazing skills in action, maybe buy some special pieces of art or be inspired to do something for yourself. Artist Studio Trail Dates: 23rd - 31st October
For artists, it is a unique opportunity to sell your work, connect with the public and showcase what you do in your own environment.
Want to be part of the trail and have a profile on this site?

Mahurangi Artist Network (MAN) and Mahurangi Artist’s Studio Trail (MAST) are artist led, local initiatives which draw together local creatives to jointly enable a higher profile, successful interactions and more options for growth.

The annual Open Studio event encourages visitors to drop into a range of working spaces and learn more about the work and inspirations of our artists. We hold regular get togethers where networking and information sharing and support, encouragement happens in a relaxed social environment. The website allows curators, potential buyers and others to find out more about our practice and skills.

Our site allows you to interact as a visitor to find out about individual artists and to see what events are planned. As a creative you are invited to join the Network virtually and have your artwork on display here and the opportunity to take part in the Open Studio and other events. We look forward to meeting you. There is no selection or judging process, this is an open network for you.

WHERE: The Mahurangi region is difficult to define exactly. In general, it stretches from below Puhoi, though Warkworth, up to Wellsford and across to Pakiri. We welcome any creative person who is located more or less in that area to join us.
