Alexis Waterhouse lives in the beautiful Kaipara District with her family and menagerie of animals. She has been working with ceramics for the past 6yrs and has studied hand building, wheel throwing and sculpture. Alexis also uses fused glass or lead-lighting in her creations; as well as wood carving and design. Kaipara Wild Studios is based in Kaipara Flats and offers hand-building and wheel throwing workshops.
