Deb Gilchrist-Geyser is a mixed-media ceramic artist whose work often explores what lies beneath the surface. Her practice is drawn to the tension between concealment and revelation, using layered forms to expose what is often protected or left unseen. Combining fragility with strength, her work invites viewers to consider the unseen structures, memories, and emotions we carry within us.

Living in Puhoi, at the end of a misty valley, she finds herself in the perfect setting to conjure up fantastical offerings—works often inspired by a deep love of medieval art, gargoyles, and drolleries, where the strange, symbolic, and beautifully unsettling can emerge.
