Dianne has been painting for 30 years and has been working on becoming more abstract in her style of painting. All her work is intuitive and starts out with reckless abandon and continues until something catches her attention in the painting, sometimes it is a person sometimes an animal. She likes to tell a story in her painting so usually there is a realistic element present but occasionally the painting represents a feeling or has connections to the landscape or sea as both have played a huge part of her life.

Currently Dianne is exploring love, loss and angst in her paintings and she is forever experimenting to find new ways to connect with these topics.
