Julia has had a lifelong involvement with animals. She rode horses from almost before she could walk, has bred sport horses and been a dressage judge to the highest level in New Zealand. She also ran her cattery on Sandspit Road for years. Art also runs in her blood, both her mother and sister were/are adept artists and Julia has drawn and painted for many years. Now Julia integrates both these passions. Using her artwork she creates realistic animal portraits for both herself and as commissions for other people. Julia has now converted the cattery into her studio and welcomes visitors. STUDIO 384.
