KATHRYN ASHWORTH

Kathryn Grace Jewellery

Jeweller

Artist Bio:

Artworks you can wear. Kathryn’s jewellery is hand crafted and each piece is unique. Living on the edge of the Mahurangi Harbour the sea is a great source of inspiration for her jewellery.

Having taken up jewellery making in the last few years Kathryn has become addicted and likes to experiment with the metals. She likes to beat and overheat the metal to see what textures can be achieved and doesn’t like her work to be too perfect. Mainly working in sterling silver Kathryn also includes brass, bronze and semiprecious sones in her artwork.

These pieces are delicate and not designed for everyday wear - although inspired by the sea they are not for wearing in the sea.

Each piece of jewellery has been blessed in the Mahurangi Harbour.
