Liz pivoted to clay from casting glass when she moved to Matakana about 10 years ago, loving the immediacy and expressiveness of hand building. She completed a MAD from AUT after her initial training at UNITEC, has won a number of prizes and has been included in many exhibitions and private and public collections. She also enjoys teaching short courses in the blossoming clay diaspora of New Zealand.
