Born in Titirangi, New Zealand and then spending her childhood in the United Kingdom, Louise developed a love of pottery after many Museum, stately home and pottery studio visits with her family. Always wanting to learn to pot but never finding the time until moving to the Whangaripo Valley, Wellsford and then taking a class at Estuary Arts Centre, clay became a passion. She is now half way through a diploma in Ceramics through the Dunedin School of Art and Auckland Studio Potters and is hoping to open her studio this summer.
