Margaret has not solely kept to her original representational style of painting and regards making art an adventure into an unknown world. Her art is about her own changing story, her love of the natural world of bush, sky and sea, the play of light and through this channel seeks to create an experience of the heart for herself and others too. Her width of interest also include paintings of Italy, cultural comment and edgy abstract themes.

Margaret has returned to painting again after a long period of absence and now regards herself as a happy hobby painter who paints, and teaches when she is able.
