Rosielea is a mixed media artist based in Matakana. She graduated from TLC (International School of Art and Creativity) in Wellington in 2018 with an advanced honours diploma.

Her subject matter reflects the range of human experiences and emotion in an expressionistic style. She likes to paint about the ‘…underneath of things…’ and ‘…comforting daily things…’ She paints stylised imaginary worlds. She also creates characters made from paper mache.

Rosielea is a survivor who loves to live a creative life, ‘walking (or running) - between the spaces of anxiety and adventure.

She is currently working on a series called, ‘The Troups’, in watercolour and a ‘Night Garden’ series in mixed media.
