Ceramics, Environment

Artist Bio:

Vivienne is a ceramics artist based in Warkworth. Her adventures with pottery began as a hobby in 2000 and her main interest has been in representing the natural environment, especially birds and flowers. She currently specialises in bright kowhai and pohutukawa, usually mounted on driftwood or copper pipe. Raku fired native birds are her other speciality as she loves to have fun with lustrous colours achieved in the raku process. Piwakawaka (fantail), Kereru, Kotare and Tui are her usual subjects.
