However each Venue whether it be an open studio, fine art gallery or Trail Central at the Warkworth Town Hall may open at different times or days during the Trail so please check below for details or on your free printed Trail Map that can be picked up at your local Mahurangi eatery, business or Warkworth Information Centre.

WORKSHOPS

These interactive sessions provide a platform for artists, both seasoned and emerging, to share their creative expertise with the community.  Participants have the opportunity to explore various artistic mediums, learn new techniques, and gain hands-on experience in crafting their own masterpieces!  Workshops hosted along the Art Trail foster a sense of camaraderie and collaboration among art enthusiasts.  From painting and sculpture and pottery, these workshops encourage individuals of all ages and skill levels to discover and nurture their passion for the arts.

Come watch or help Noila create a mural.  Taking inspiration from the beauty of the surrounding Mahurangi scenery.  During the Art Trail, Noila will lead participants in the creation of a joint mural art work which will be donated to a local organisation.

Join Sandra in an engaging clay workshop where you can experiment, discover the tactile wonders of clay and learn techniques to create personalised useable pottery and artwork with the guidance of an experienced potter.

Join Alysn to stitch and create a collaged textile art piece.  Ideas are derived from the frugal mending and patching techniques found in all cultures where fabrics are precious.  It will remind us that 'make do and mend' should be an important aspect of our modern culture as well as the joy of making together.
