Joy uses wheel and hand building techniques to create fun clay pieces, platters to mini bowls, functional domestic ware, decorative balls and quirky colourful garden art.

Sonia specialises in oil on canvas, seascapes and landscapes. Trees are a constant theme of her work and are shown from a birds eye view or anchored against stormy skies.

Yvonne Gray is a contemporary painter and printmaker whose work evokes the emotional landscape of place through layered, expressive compositions.

Vivienne's ceramics capture bright colours and textures of nature - flowers & native birds, on driftwood or upcycled copper, fired in electric or raku kilns.

Local artisan Mike Reeves creates bespoke, handcrafted pottery designed for everyday use. His work, influenced by global and NZ traditions, blends technical skill with practical design in wheel-thrown and hand-built forms.

Based in Warkworth, Sharlene is in her 26th year as an artist, working mostly with acrylic and watercolour paints. Latest works include pen, ink and watercolours on used tea bags.

Joy Bell repurposes all manner of materials and incorporates them into her art. She loves working with clay, concrete, fleece, skin, skulls and other found objects.

Sandra's new pottery studio is always filled with fun, friendship, laughter and creativity. Finished for the 2026 Art Trail, her studio is filled with beautiful pottery by Sandra and her friends.

Rosie loves to paint what she sees and feels, how she experiences moments in time, using images from daily life and imagination, working with mixed media and papier mache figures.

Alexis Waterhouse of Kaipara Wild Studios is a ceramics, wood and glass artist. She also offers hand-building and wheel-throwing workshops from her studio in Kaipara Flats.

Cecilia specializes in the art of crafting ceramic balloons with vibrant glazes, aiming to bring joy to homes while connecting directly with collectors to share her artistic vision.

Inspired by NZ flora and fauna. Self taught with initial skills learned and supported by a group of amazing ceramic artists within Warkworth.

Tania creates whimsical, layered works blending botanical, folk and fantasy art, using mixed media to explore enchanted forests, imaginative creatures and expressive faces.

Maggie is a self-taught artist, making bright colourful creations out of clay which can be used indoor or outdoor. She is well known for her torsos, totems and garden art.

Sue uses wheel and hand building to produce both functional and sculptural ceramic pieces. Drawn also to the world of glass, she works in both stained and fused glass.

Julia likes to use various mediums to produce a variety of different styles. Her favourite subjects are animals and flowers. Lately she has been experimenting with abstraction.

Contemporary artworks rendered with bold brushstrokes. Pauline's aim is to paint intuitively and she works quickly in order to maintain a fresh result.

Kathy discovered flax cultivars in 2003. She gives shape and design to each piece. Her painted pods are stunning and elevate a domestic or commercial space with drama and class.

Shelly Gray of Tinker Designs, is a contemporary jewellery designer known for bespoke pieces primarily using silver, precious stones & glass.

Glenda is inspired by the colours, textures and patterns of nature. Her work invites viewers to pause from life's busyness, offering a moment of beauty, calm and rest.

Juliana's pottery reflects the organic shapes of the natural world. Her work is hopefully pretty and mostly useless.

Brendan has made a living from his unique pottery and sculpture for the past 38 years and he is still going!

After Liz moved to Matakana, she pivoted her art practice to clay, loving the immediacy and expressiveness of hand building and using experimental glazes.

Louise enjoys experimenting with wheel thrown forms and hand building, altering, joining and using slips. Her inspiration and ideas come from conversations, the environment, other potters and artists.
