Trish’s paintings are about her love of exploring and photographing the New Zealand coastline especially the beaches near her home in Warkworth.

Trish paints using expressive free-flowing marks, wanting to create the atmosphere rather a realistic copy. She endeavours to capture the light and shadows that play on the sand-dunes, and the glistening waves of the sea, leading on to the mysteries of distant horizons and cloudscapes. Trish uses quality oil paints to give rich depth and texture to the canvas.

Trish grew up in Auckland, surrounded by a household of enthusiastic artists and photographers. She continued her creative interests by working in the Interior Design and florist business. She further qualified in Creative Arts with The Learning Connexion, Wellington.

Over the years she has won awards exhibiting and selling her works at prestigious school fund-raisers and local exhibitions.
